Sepal Login         

Fetid Adder's Tongue has wide brown sepals and narrower white petals.

 Sepals often start out as the outside covering of a bud.

As the flower opens, the sepal forms the lowest part of the flower, below the petals, stamens and pistil.

After flowering, the sepal often withers and falls away.
