This Mint family flower has a small hood covering reproductive organs and a large lip hanging below.



Up to six flowers grow in a whorl at leaf axils on the upper stem. Leaves are opposite, crinkly, and have scalloped edges. They can grow to 5 inches long.



Hedge Nettle grows in tight communities of upright plants.
