Pacific Sanicula has distinctive leaves, with toothed lobes radiating from a single point.



Tiny yellow flowers are gathered tightly in round-topped heads.



Crassicaulis is Latin for thick stemmed. Each year, a new stem grows out of a taproot that lives many years.
