Good smelling leaves on this low-growing herb are thick, have toothed edges and are opposite each other along the length of the stem.



Small pale lavendar mint flowers grow on stalks from the leaf axils of the opposite leaves, making opposite flowers.



Many square-stemmed Yerba Buena plants trail along the ground, combining to form an aromatic ground cover.
