  • Variable petal colors, but always with a yellow center.
  • Short linear leaves in a bunches along the stem and where the flower(s) emerge.
  • CA native. Found only in California.
  • AKA Small-Flowered Leptosiphon
  • Phlox Family (Polemoniaceae)



5 petals, often white or pink, but may be other colors as well. Yellow center.



One or more tubular flowers on the top each plant.



Each flower has a long narrow tube up to 1 inch long. Note the narrow leaves at the base of the flowers.
