Pea-shaped flowers are small (under 1/2 inch) and can be blue, purple and/or white.
Appearance varies. It is sometimes hairy and sometimes not. Flowers can be mostly blue or mostly white.
Hairy pea pods form from the flower, about 1 inch long.
Fairly common in the eastern Sierras.

Palmate
leaves have 5-9 narrow "fingers". Leaves may be fuzzy, but not always.
